My Story

Why I became a nutritionist

Growing up in Tamil Nadu, food was always central to our family life. Watching family members struggle with lifestyle conditions like diabetes and PCOS β€” and seeing how profoundly diet could impact those conditions β€” sparked my passion for nutrition science early on.

During my clinical rotations, I witnessed firsthand how personalised, culturally appropriate nutrition advice could transform patients' health outcomes far more effectively than generic diet plans. That experience shaped my entire philosophy: nutrition must be personal, practical, and rooted in your cultural food identity.

I founded Divine Nutrition to make evidence-based nutrition guidance accessible to everyone β€” not just those who can visit a hospital dietitian. Today, I help clients across India and globally develop sustainable, enjoyable eating habits that work with their lifestyle, not against it.
